Pork Chops Recipe
My favourite pork chops recipe has got to be my Pork Chops with Brown Butter Sauce and Farfalle Pasta. Unlike my other pork chops recipe, I find this one to be a lot easier to make. There is no fuss in breading, frying and melting the cheese in the oven. If you like the Kentucky Fried Chicken taste, feel free to check out my Cheesy Pork Chops with Steamed Vegetables recipe. For this recipe, all you need is to fry the pork chops in a frying pan and make the butter sauce. You will love the beef broth, blended with Dijon mustard, garlic and red pepper flakes. The creaminess of the broth elevates the taste of the pork chops. Marinate the pork chops for two hours in soy sauce, sugar and five spice powder. The Farfalle Pasta dish with peas is simple and has a nutty flavour thanks to the sesame oil and butter. In less than 30 minutes, I have created an ultimate comfort food classic. Hopefully, you will enjoy this recipe just as I have.
Savoury Pork Chops Recipe with Brown Butter Sauce and Farfalle Pasta
This savoury pork chops recipe is the ultimate comfort food. The butter sauce is made with beef broth, dijon mustard, garlic and chili flakes. Pair the pork chops with simple Farfalle Pasta with peas.
Pork Chops with Brown Butter Sauce
Marinate pork chops in olive oil, soy sauce, five spice powder and sugar for 1-2 hours
Heat butter in frying pan and cook pork chops 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Flip and cook until the chops are golden brown on the other side. Cover in foil and set aside.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt to water in a 6-quart pot. Cook Farfalle pasta and frozen peas until al dente (10 minutes). Drain and set aside. In a large skillet, over high heat, saute garlic and add Farfalle pasta and frozen peas. Put in the butter and sesame oil. Cook about 3 more minutes.
In the same pot, pour the beef broth and add in the Dijon mustard, chili flakes, and garlic powder. Stir in the cornstarch to thicken the sauce. Cook for 5 minutes. Once the sauce is ready, remove from stove and serve with pork chops and pasta.
