The Best BBQ Eel Fried Rice
After I tried BBQ Eel Fried Rice for the first time five years ago at a Japanese restaurant, I knew I had to make it from home. Now that the restaurants are closed, I feel more inclined to create my most favourite restaurant dishes. This Japanese specialty is definitely a dish I want to make again and again. I love the sweetness of the BBQ eel balanced by the saltiness of the fried rice.
Where I Buy My BBQ Eel
You can buy BBQ eel at any Asian supermarket like T&T supermarket. I got mine for $12 and it comes already cooked and marinated.
How to Make the Fried Rice
This BBQ eel fried rice is so easy that you can’t possibly mess this up. One thing to note is that you have to use cold rice. If you use hot rice, you will get soggy and sticky clumps.
