The Best Spicy Turkey Chili

I’m in the mood for something healthy today, so I spent two hours cooking up the best spicy turkey chili ever!  Before you say that this recipe is basic, I ask you to try this before you decide. For cold winter nights, I wanted a warm, comforting soup that can be turned into a meal. One bowl of this spicy turkey chili, and you’ll be full for hours. What’s more, you can save the leftovers for the next day and create a nice pasta dish.

Why Is This the Best Turkey Chili?

Turkey is known to be a healthier option than ground beef. According to Healthline, turkey is lower in saturated fat than ground beef and has lower calories. Plus, I’ve added loads of mixed beans to help with lowering your bad cholesterol and losing the extra pounds.

Since working from home, I’ve put on a few pounds due to poor eating habits (due to my love of sweets and salty snacks). Because of this, my promise to myself is to eat healthier. What makes this dish so unique? It’s the fact that it’s got red wine and lots of cheddar cheese. If you don’t have red wine available, you don’t have to include it. This spicy turkey chili has lots of bold flavours from the BBQ sauce, chili and cayenne powder. I also added No.7’s seasoning spice to add more flavour to this chili. Try out my Mexican Corn Chowder for your next dinner or lunch options. You can make this chili in a slow cooker.

Please try this and tell me what you think. Enjoy with bread or pita bread.
