Quick and Easy Crispy Chili Beef
My Quick and Easy Crispy Chili Beef is a recipe you can’t mess up. I know this recipe is very basic but it’s aligned with my motto: to provide busy professionals and families quick and easy recipe ideas. For this crispy chili beef dish, I added some ketchup, honey and soy sauce. I’ve tried this recipe with orange juice and soy sauce but it left a strange taste in my mouth. Serve this dish with rice or noodles.
A Few Tips On Making that Crispy Chili Beef Extra Delicious
- To marinate the beef, you must add cornstarch. Why? It prevents overcooking when exposed to the high heat of the frying pan and helps bind the sauces together.
- Don’t overcook the beef. When exposed to high heat, the beef can easily turn hard and rubbery. You want to fry the beef 2-3 minutes so it’s nice and crispy.
- You don’t have to add the chilis. I like all my dishes spicy so I always add chilis to my dishes.
