Strangelove’s Decadent Hot Chocolate

When Narcity mentioned that Strangelove Coffee has got the most decadent hot chocolate in town, I knew I had to try it. I’m a huge fan of holiday drinks: cinnamon hot chocolate, hot apple cider and gingersnap latte -all of them are my favourites. This holiday season, I promised myself that I wouldn’t worry too much about counting calories. You’ve got to live a little and enjoy the finer things in life.

For $15, Strangelove Coffee’s decadent hot chocolate comes loaded with a red velvet cupcake, candy, gingersnap cookie, and roasted marshmallows. I’m proud to announce that I drank this all on my own. I loved the homemade ganache and peppermint shavings. One thing to note: don’t eat the red velvet cupcake separately. You’re supposed to dunk the cupcake into the creamy hot chocolate to form a sugary porridge. It’s very sweet and addictive at the same time.
