Spicy Udon with Pork

Spicy Udon with Pork

I’m a big fan of Korean food so when I found some Gochujang chili paste, I wanted to use it for a spicy noodle dish. This Spicy Udon with Pork has a spicy sauce that packs a lot of flavour. I’ve also added some kimchi for some extra heat.

  • 1 package of fresh or frozen udon noodles
  • 2 tablespoons of Gochujang
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 1/2 cup green peppers
  • 1 pound pork fillet, trimmed, halved crossways
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

  • Heat frying pan with oil and cook sliced porks and green pepper for 5-6 minutes, until almost cooked. Set aside
  • Cook udon noodles in chicken stock and butter
  • Stir in pork, green peppers, Gochuchang, kimchi, soy sauce and sesame oil until mixture thickens
  • Garnish with green onions
  • Season with salt and pepper. Serve

If you want something fast and delicious, the Spicy Udon with Pork is the recipe to try. Enjoy!
